Bridge Of Flowers
Photograph - Photography
This flower is one of many on the "Bridge of Flowers" in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts. The bridge was constructed in 1908 to carry trolley tracks across the Deerfield River. Trolley service ended in 1928 and in 1929, it became a garden. Now it draws thousands of tourists per year. I like how the light hits the front of the flower to create a backlit effect on the back of it, creating a more abstract image.
