Bridge Where Waters Meet
Painting - Oil On Canvas
I had stepped over the line. I had been painting for hours in Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve when the park ranger approached. He was frustrated but kind. Apparently someone had told this park ranger that I was not allowed to paint where I had been painting. A painting complaint. No worries officer, the high tide pushing into the lagoon had forced me out of my first location, I'll finish up on the beaten path. A little boy with his family wandered past. He stopped and looked at my painting. I looked at him. His eyes were glued to my work. He took a deep breath and then let out a "Wow". His family called him. He looked at them, looked back at the painting and then ran off. That little boy's expressive one word complement filled my heart with a true inner joy. Thank you! Thank You!!!
