Description:
The Windsor-Cornish Bridge is a two span Town Lattice Truss style covered bridge. It measures about 460 feet long. Ya, it’s big. It connects Vermont and New Hampshire over the Connecticut River. This bridge was built in 1866 and is among the the longest covered bridges in the United States. There have been three other bridges built on this site – in 1796, 1824 and 1828. These bridges were destroyed by floods.
