I've seen these guys immobile on a flower somewhere ... (they worry me when they do that!!) Fabulous detail and exposure, Bonnie ... if I had to, I think I could count the little hairs!!!!! Great capture!!!! f/v

I photographed this bumblebee at day's end when it was snoozing on a grass stalk. It was perfectly immobile and nonthreatening! Many admire the bumblebee because aerodynamically, it seems it shouldn't be able to fly, yet fly it does! It inspires us to look past our limitations and achieve the unexpected!
