Description
This is the most moving painting of my daughter, Leslie, saluting my brother Joe Bob Phillips. His real name is Clyde and he was one of the four Americans and four NATO pilots that wrote the flight manual for the F 16 fighter jet. On the floor of the painting is my fathers Naval leather log album with his sortie record from World War II. He ditched his plane to save two others who had been shot down in the Pacific. A memorable tribute for our family to pass down through the generations. This was done in European Pastel in the technique I developed using my little finger.
