Description:

This work is one of the many quilts inspired by my travels. In this case, the arches of Byzantine architecture are translated into a fantasy of color and form as they combine with voyages of the imagination. As Alfred, Lord Tennyson writes in Ulysses;
"I am a part of all that I have met; yet all experience is an arch wherethrough gleams that untravelled world."
