Description:

This is called the California Lighthouse but it could be any where. The viewer is looking at a seascape of a lighthouse tower with an attached lighthouse and an open ocean in the background with misty clouds and a pink, green, and blues sunset. The breaking waves in the foreground are highlighted by the colors in the sky. The trees and bushes on the cliff and in the yard showing autumn colors and indicating winter is just around the corner. The lights are on in the house and in the tower. The lighthouse tower looks a little weathered but strong and solid and ready for another winter. The pine trees in the background behind the house are a cool blue green because of the misty sea air. You can see sea birds flying over the forest. The scene is finished off with a bright sky and darker clouds and fog on the horizon. The reflections on the ocean lead the viewers eye directly to the horizon where there is a break in the clouds down to the ocean surface. A lighthouse keepers life must be a lonely one the view is probably worth it.
