Description
The Calla Lily, or Arum Lily, is native to Southern Africa and Swaziland. Its preferred habitat is on stream banks, or in or near ponds with banks. These lilies in black and white.
The large flowers are produced in spring, summer and fall. These plants have been hybridized to include many different colors and sizes, all of which are beautiful.
The beauty of the Calla is that the flower is smooth, with a touch of color, which makes them extremely suited for wall decor to accentuate almost any style of decoration. Many Callas have stripes on the spathes, the flower. Sometimes the stripes show plainly. Sometimes that are very subtle. It is often seen that a white flower will have definite green stripes running through the white portion.
