Description
Cape Flattery in Washington state is the most NW tip of the continental United States. I took a short hike through the forest to a breathtaking viewpoint overlooking Tatoosh Island, rocky cliffs, sea caves, the Pacific Ocean and the Strait of Juan de Fuca!
"Flattery Rocks National Wildlife Refuge consists of a portion of 870 islands, rocks, and reefs extending for more than 100 miles along Washington's Pacific coast from Cape Flattery to Copalis Beach. These islands are protected from human disturbance, yet are close to abundant ocean food sources."
