Description:

This cat populated the Americas from the Atlantic to the Pacific, and from the Yukon to Peru. Many of the Native American tribes wove the Cougar into their oral history, ecpecially the Aztecs who sculpted the cat into their achitecture. The Shawnee referred to shooting stars as cougars, and Tecumseh was named for one that appeared at the time of his birth. The original is 15X20 and is drawn on 140# acid-free paper. The piece has been double matted, covered in non-glare glass, and framed.
