Painting - Acrylic On Gesso Board
Few cities in the world are so identified by a building as is New Orleans. The city is instantly recognized by our cathedral and its position overlooking Jackson Square. The Cathedral-Basilica of St. Louis King of France is the oldest Catholic cathedral in continual use in the United States and the plaza in front of it is full of interesting sounds and sights all day long. One can see musicians playing for dollar bills, mimes. jugglers and fortune tellers hoping to catch your attention, as well as artists selling their creations along the wrought iron fence. All the while, the smells of roasting coffee, hot fried beignets, spicy Cajun and creole cooking mix with the melody of the calliope from the riverboats on the Mississippi River. It's a wonderful way to spend some time!
