Description
This is a folk form of art called Madhubani Painting from the state of Bihar in India. It has been created by the artist with brush and acrylic. There are no templates or scales used in this painting and the measurement has been taken by the olden ways using fingers and hands. All the intricate lines in the art has been done using thin brushes and paint. We dont use markers/pens in the art.
"Celebration" depicts dancing fish and dancing birds which are enjoying the beauty nature and of their being. They are in symmetry and harmony with each other. The joy of their souls is reflected in the dancing pattern.
Historically the painting was done on walls and floors of the houses in villages in India during the time of celebrations/festivals. This is a primary reason why most of the patters in the art would showcase happiness and festivity.
