Description:

This is my first attempt to do a horse painting. My grandfather used to love horses and owned many of them. He had a brown one just like this one on his farm. It is painted with acrylics on a size 12x16 streched canvas.

Hey Natalie, enjoyed your gallery. You are one busy lady. Champion reminds me of my riding days, Galloping across the fields with the wind and mane in my face. Nice memories. Thanks for your comment. I noticed you sold one of your paintings. Sweet!!

Has a very nice feel to it.. well done. And thanks for all the kind words on my work.. but I wanted to tell you that "Amethyst" is actually an amaryllis.. which are related to lilies but not.. you may find that color in them - I did..

Excellent job on the horse, Natalie ! I would have never thought that a horse and flowers would look sooo good together. You are indeed a miracle worker; creating beauty in whatever you paint !

Horses are lovely, aren't they? This one appears to have the love of everyone and is sitting amongst the angels - and again, your flowers are B-E-A-utiful!

I just love the way you paint! This is great but made special by the flowers that are wonderfully painted - and makes me smile :) Did you see the big ghostly wolfs head above the 1rst bird and on top mountsin in middle? And the couple kissing on top of the mountain on far right? :)

Hi Natalie! What a lovely painting and your horse is magnificent! He looks like he just won the Triple Crown with the flowers around his neck. I, too, love horses and would love to have grown up on a horse farm in Kentucky. Beautiful and I love the story about your Grandfather and his love of horses. Lovely-Patricia Maxwell
