O'Neal Smalls, President and Chairman of the Board Of Trustee's for Freewoods Farms; checks on the progress of grinding the sugar cane. In the small building in the background, the liquid sugar cane will be cooked for about 8 hours into a rich sweet and organic syrup. O'Neal teaches and explains the process to visitors and students from local schools. The Syrup is a real treat and may be purchased in two different sizes by the public to help support the running and expansion of Freewoods Farm.
