This is the Ghanaian Adinkra symbol Denkyem for adaptability. I believe you thought these were Cherokee symbols from one picture on Pinterest that labels them as such, but please do more research in the future. It looks like this misinformation has already reached thousands of people which is extremely disheartening.

Ms.Shellito, I’m not here to bash you, but only to inform. Every one of your Cherokee symbol art and their meanings are not Cherokee and I’m not sure who informed you of such. Please look up Ghanaian Adinkra Symbols, that’s what you’ve been painting. Please rename your artwork appropriately so that the misinformation can stop here. Every culture deserves to be respected for what they are without being attributed to another, especially when there’s no apparent reason.
