Love how you capture in the 'moment' Michel great photography! FL

I cannot say it better than what Maggie just wrote. I am enjoying tremendously looking, reading your images. They are deep and haunting. This one is yet another, brilliant surreal capture. Great post-production in terms of colour, light and texture. Congratulatins!

Michel Verhoef replied:

Many thanks Yvonne for your understanding words and your complimen ! Wishing you a nice day !!

Thanks for liking my images so much so i feel honored !!!! Yes it is easy to say being lucky, but sometimes that is just the case, but i agree it are fleeting moments that people might not see. I can imagine that others may take these too but never decide to choose to work on :) thanks anyway, and i will gradually reply on all your other comments...okay ?

Val-d´Or, QC - Canada

I came today to check out your photography because you had taken a few moments to look and comment on mine. I started to look and look and look and can't stop going through more as they are amazing. It's like you have a special radar to sense emotions going on around you. It's easy to say you were lucky and just there - but there world is full of people that are just there and they don't capture these tiny, special moments let alone even notice them. This young girl, seems so cold with the air coming from the sea and you pp'd this image to really bring that sense of that moment in time and space. I'm so impressed, you just cannot know.

Beautiful cold atmosphere and expression; all in the picture make me feel the chilly and wet wind coming from the sea!...

Michel Verhoef replied:

Yes it was quite chilly as I remember. Don't know if she was hindered by it :)) thank you Ana :)

Prachtig. L/F

Yes, Michael. there is lots of mystery in this child and in this photo. I can only imagine that she is cold from riding a bike, Her mind is on something we will never know.

Greensboro, NC - United States

Well...another perfect moment captured...that captures us in turn. The title is perfection as is this scene. So full of possible stories. I love the tilted horizon which led me to the other silent voyeur besides us...the crow hiding in plain site, awesome!

Michel Verhoef replied:

Ha....I always forget about the crow !! Nice that you discovered it for me again...thanks Melissa for this lovely comment once more !! :)

stunning capture! L51

Michel Verhoef replied:

Thanks for your critique :)

Hamilton, ON - Canada

Fantastic capture Michel! What makes this intriguing is I cannot read the little girl's emotion. Is she waiting? Is she cold? Are the bikes too big for her? Or perhaps she's just being a regular young girl dallying in her own thoughts and keeping her hands warm with her sweater sleeves. Love it! l/f

Michel Verhoef replied:

Thanks Barb ! I agree with all these ideas...it's the best compliment to get from you ;) thank you again !

Well done and soulful..can't imagine being a kid today without a mentor!! Reminds me of a character like 'Smike' in Nicholas Nickelby by Dickens.

Michel Verhoef replied:

Thanks Charlie. I vaguely remember that she wasn't alone out there...but I don't know if it was her mentor :)

Recklinghausen, NR - Germany

Great chosen title! Being a child is more valuable than everything else....but when you were a child you didn´t understand the value! You could only feel this nostalgic touch of being one. One with no boundaries, no irrational fears and no thinking about your own behaviour...you are more you and you would never be this you again in life! Great moment! Great scene! Fantastic work!

Michel Verhoef replied:

Wow...what an amazing poetic words..feeling humbled..thanks a thousand times !
