Description:

This work represents one of the monuments known as Ulama MARKERS OF THE GAME, originally, this hard stone, a fine piece of Mayan art dating from 590 AD, shows a player ulama, the sacred ball game. The incredible speed of the ball, the players' reaction to the coup and the ability to float the ball around the court in honor of the gods depended on the skill of the craftsmen who know the secrets of the artifact processing. The original disc was carved out of limestone in a diameter of 56cm and 13cm in thickness and was found in the archaeological site of Chinkultic, State of Chiapas in Mexico and is now the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City. As for latonagem was made in 0.06 mm thick aluminum relief plan; ink and Patina received diluted bitumen.
