Description:

Christmas in our hometown is seldom a white Christmas. Most are wet Christmases. Here we have a daughter and her father shopping for mom's Christmas present on an empty Main Street. Last minute shopping on the eve of Christmas is an experience as scary as it is fun. This painting was mostly an opaque watercolor (gouache).
