" Ciguapa " is the name that is given to a mythological being, a amazon woman that lives in caverns of the forests of the Dominican Republic. She has the feet back, long silky hair, and it produces a howl like a tipe of bird. In the painting, she tries to catch a man and taken it through the dark door.
