( Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved ) Ohio's third largest city rests on the north bank of the Ohio River and is often best viewed from northern Kentucky. The Carew Tower was built in 1929 and until recently was the tallest building in town. Now, the new Great American Insurance tower commands that honor by several feet. Standing directly behind the baseball stadium of the same name, it is a most welcome addition to the city and blends in very nicely with those from another era. Construction continues on The Banks Project, a long-awaited development of housing, shops, restaurants and green space along the waterfront. One summer morning under a beautiful blue sky with some white, puffy clouds, I discovered a new and improved ... Cincinnati Skyline.
