Description
"Clematis Cascade"
Is a digitally created painting, inspired by the flowering landscape that graces my brother's property. Dave, along with his wife, Christine, have planted hundreds of varieties of flowering plants, bushes and trees to create an ever-changing seasonal kaleidoscope! Passing strangers will often pull off the road to admire the profusion of color.
In this scene, a rusted water pump stands alongside an old weathered garden shed. A cascade of flowering clematis flows beneath the water spout, as if it were their source.

Doug, this one's for you for sharing your heartwarming inspiration to our group, and to me personally. A special honor for a special friend. What a fine piece of artwork for me to proudly display on our Featured Artwork section of our Homepage, within our family of friends and fine artists, in our Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery group. It is truly an honor to showcase your talents and beautiful artworks within our site, as our members get more promotion than in most groups, as I change out our Featured Artworks section 20 to 30 images at a time, and almost on a daily basis. I also change out our Top FEATURED artists weekly. I am proud to display this fine piece of beauty you have created for us to enjoy and share with others. LIKED and FAVED Forever, Elvis
