Peri Craig, We go frequently, usually to Desert View Campground, then make trips to the Viewpoints we like from there. Sometimes to Mather Campground, and make trips out Hermit Road to the viewpoints. Haven't been to the Glass ledge, expensive and they will not allow you to take a camera out on the ledge. Though we may go sometime. We have taken Helicopter trips into the Canyon, from Vegas, Grand Canyon Airport twice and down into the Havasupai Reservation. Personally would rather spend extra for these trips, than go to the Glass Ledge. Usually try to get the front seat of the Chopper for the best photos. Then when we land in the Canyon, the photos from the place you land, to me seem more dramatic or better than those Ive seen from the sides of the canyon, next to the Glass ledge. The Ledge does NOT go over the river. It is in a canyon off the river, though you get a view of the river, it is no better than most areas along the South Rim.

F&V Great to have this right here in the "backyard!" Have you been there since the glass ledge was installed?

Awesome. I love the shapes and colors and how they lead the eye to the figures. Thank you.

Awesome, I love the contrasting colors. The people on the rock add pespective to the vastness of the canyon, but you won't find me out there. Voted
