Bedros, just when I begin to think I have a sense of where you are going... whoosh you soar away into something entirely new!!! This is fantastic!!! The tonal qualities are at once deep and lush and warmly fragrant yet also cold and hard and very much on the surface. The marble sculpture suggests carnality but innocense while the garden suggests perpetual regeneration, sweetness and youthful vitality.Yyet the shrine is crumbling with time and the garden is untended, old vines are threatening to impose themselves over and against every thing else and a solitary palm slowly ages and declines in health. I see it as a poignant paen to our hopefullness in the face of our own mortality. Beautiful!!! V
