Thank you very much!

Nice one Paula!

Thanks so much for your comment, Casey! I always appreciate comments and feedback :) Your reaction of peacefulness (earthy/natural), was my intent and definitely the feeling I wanted to convey of this pen and ink drawing I did on-site in the foothills of the Rocky's one evening as the sun was starting to set. I like my artwork to convey or evoke an emotion, feeling or thought. I want the viewer to connect to the artwork...if even for a brief moment. Thanks Again!

When I look at this, it makes me feel comfortable and peaceful; in addition, I like the different tones of black and the abstract quality in your line expressions. Its very earthy and natural. I also like how you left some of the paper still showing, it brings a sense of depth into play. Overall, I think the composition of the mountains are good. And your line quality varying from thin to thick really plays with the sense of space and shadow.

Paula - Love the simplicity and drama; well done!
