My husband's great grandfather was Luca Lupo, and he had a brother Joseph. They were also from Sicily. Luca Lupo lived in Opelousas, Lousiana. My husband also has Columbo, Polumbo (spelling?), Fazzina (sp?) and of course Terracina in the family, all from Sicily. (That is all just on his father's side of the family) Much of his Lupo family still live in western Louisiana.

Awesome! Thank you! When I get to a point where I can get started I will message you and request that you email it to me so I can magnify it to get the colors right. It takes me several months to complete a painting as I only get to paint about four hours a week. I work full time. BTW, my husband's grandmother was a Lupo! He is in this group too. I told him he needs to see if the two of you are related :)

Stanley Lupo replied:

My father was born in Catania, Sicily and arrived when he was 4 hrs old. He was raised in the Bronx, N. Y.

Thanks for your comments. I would love to see your painted interpretation of my image. You have my blessing. Go for it.

Love this shot, and the reflection of the grass in the water is awesome! This would be fun to paint. V
