Telegram from Attorney General Harry Daugherty to the Warden of Atlanta Penitentiary communicating President Harding's commutation of Eugene Debs 10 year sentence for violating the Espionage Act of 1917. His crime was denouncing US entry into World War I and promoting draft resistance. December 26 1921.
