Thank you Alita. They were the first thing I painted in this painting because I realized that if the rocks didn't work, then the whole painting would fall apart. For my reference shot, I stood on that ledge and shot the photograph I used to paint this picture. This is in the New River Valley, West Virginia.

Description:

This is the second painting I painted from a vacation I took in West Virginia. This little waterfalls is located in the woods alongside the New River. The original was purchased by an art collector in Louisiana.
