Painting - Digital/acrylic On Canvas
And so I woke up from my coma, or so I was told. And I couldn't feel or move my legs. Acute disseminated encephalomyelitis, is what they told me I got. L1 paraplegic was the outcome. During my rehab, they tried to prepare me for a life without my legs, and in the rehab ward, they had lots of paintings there. One guy even made a painting with only his mouth. So this is why I made this piece, about 3 months after I got discharged. To honor him, and others who can't use their legs, arms and the other things we take for granted.
