Description:
This picture was taken @ Creamer Field in Fairbanks Alaska @ the end of December when the temperature was about 15 below zero. The sun comes up in a corner of the sky around 10:30 AM and is gone by 2:00 that afternoon, so you get a very soft light. With the temperature down to 15 below zero you get the beautiful ice on the trees and bushes. Creamer Field is a preserve where many types of wildlife and birds are viewed. There is a snowshoe trail to explore in this field so you can really view the area up close and personal!
