Description:

This is the first of two companion pieces on creation as depicted in the book of Genesis. Here, having determined in advance what he would create, God creates all of the universe with one sweep of his hand. He created what "is" out of what "is not." As such, I depicted the "is not" much like what you used to see on your television set when stations actually went off the air for the night. In the midst of this "is not" God pulls forth stars, nebula, solar systems, and beautiful glorious color!
