Description
Rigging on the Cutty Sark. Cutty Sark is a British clipper ship built in 1869. The ship was named after Cutty-sark, the nickname of the witch Nannie Dee in Robert Burns's 1791 poem Tam o' Shanter. Cutty Sark was destined for the tea trade, then an intensely competitive race across the globe from China to London.
