Description:

This painting of a few solo trees on the top ridge of the Blue Ridge Mountains against an incredible sunset of the Virginia skies is sometimes mistaken for a painting of Africa. No where I have ever traveled has the variety of sunsets that Virginia has. From pastels on moment to fire in the skies the next. I have always loved trees. These represent my spirit; longing to be free and grounded at the same time.
