Amazing painting with layers and layers of meaning, Jeremiah. Such a highly artistic depiction of that extremely dramatic moment of Sf. Peter's recognition of denial..... Remarkable work, absolutely remarkable !!!!!! f,v

Wow, such a wonderful work Jeremiah. You bring so many feelings and atmosphere into this charming work. At first I though that the titles reads Daniel.. and was under the impression that you bring an image about Daniel from the Bible.. which may fit so well here.. A pleasure to see your work Jeremiah. It is very much inspiring and being artistically done so great. Have a wonderful week ahead.

Jeremiah Welsh replied:

Thank you so very much Isaac! This painting does indeed draw upon biblical references and attempts, in a multi-layered fashion, to address concepts of fate & failure as well as the burden & obligation of belief. I am so very happy to know that you enjoy it! It is, as always, such a pleasure to cross paths with you here! I trust that this day finds you well. All my very best to you Isaac. I look forward to seeing your next photographs! Cheers!

Thank you Dave! I'm so very glad to hear that you enjoy this painting! It's been around for a few years and though the subject is a little obscure, it still seemed well worth sharing here. There truly is nothing like an upbringing to provide deep (both positive & negative) personal mythologies and methaphors! Be well and stay well this day my friend. All my very best to you and yours!
