We are privileged to have an eagle blind in a farmers field. The farmer has put out carrion for over 26 years to supplement the eagles' winter diet. We lose 50% of the young their first winter. This eagle was feeding when this raven came down behind him. The ravens love to pester the eagles. They actually pull their tail feathers. It is so comically to watch them. This photo is only artistically cropped with minor adjustments to exposure etc. It is an optical illusion that the raven appears larger than the eagle.
