Digital Art - Digital Painting
If my father had lived, he would have been 97 years old yesterday. This digital painting is the second of four in a series to honor him. He spent a month every summer for 30 years among the Hopi and Navaho nations in an effort to learn what Anglo-American culture could learn from them. Occasionally, the family went with him. I remember the heat, among many other things. The sacrifices of my parents are deeply appreciated by me today. It is from them all their children learned a large world-view, integrity, and empathy.
