Description:

A beautiful scene from my trip to Ireland in 2006, this painting is done in pastel on sanded board and fixed so that it does not need glass. It is framed in a dark walnut simple wood frame and is ready for hanging. The major color is green, but the rocks in the foreground dominate the painting. The waves lap at these rocks realistically. Some of the stone fences that divide the farmlands can be seen as well as two simple frame houses in the distance.
