Dinner In Brooklyn - On Exhibit At International Museum Of Women
Painting - Acrylic, Gesso, Paper On Partially Ripped Canvas
Anahi depicted a fictional meeting between Susan Antilla, author of Tales from the Boom-Boom Room and feminist artist Judy Chicago celebrating \\\"The Dinner Party\\\" opening at the Brooklyn Museum. A witness from the Wall Street stories chronicled in Tales from the Boom Boom Room watches on. The painting specifically speaks of women's experiences with sexual harassment and gender discrimination against women on Wall Street. It is also an homage to Judy Chicago and the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art at the Brooklyn Museum.
