Description
There is pending disaster all over...a big dog is looking down at the scene about to devour his next victim; the volcano has erupted and is headed for the city; the building is crumbling from the massive earthquake; the sun is zebra striped for an unknown reason; the train is about to tumble into the crevice; and there is evidence of Sasquatch with his enormous foot print embedded prominently in the upper left. On each hand is how people are reacting to the disasters. The business man continues on to his next job oblivious to the doom. One man couldn't take it and now is in the strapped up in a straight jacket. The kids continue to play. The dracula man hides away from the danger. And on the sole right hand, the man surveys the situation before ready to act...

I love the last remark from you, Mike, and admire your work - as always. So much thought and sensitivity and so wonderful to see your art. It should make us all think.......

Strength , power and protection are symbols of the human hand . Additionally the number 5 that is symbolized by the fingers and the number of hands you have painted is an indicator of love . So the disasters confidently will have solutions and the right hand man has the power to see solutions . Could he be you?Love this Mike

I wish I had that lind of power, I appreciate the deep analysis, so much to capture, so many thoughts unfolding, always wonder if I could do it better if I tried again, maybe worth it in the future, thanks so much Susan!

Bizarro World without the 3d block look of living creatures. Awesome work Mike. Lots of action. Hope you can save them all. :o)

LOVE this Mike . It reminds me of the book Michael Crichton wrote ,State of Fear. In his book octopus poison, Tsunami, terrorists, man eating crocks, cannibalism , global warming, and guns take fear over the top. Your fears seem easier to handle, in 2013 they were.VfavL

This should be frightening, but I find it quite fun and whimsical in some ways. Great work.
