Description
This is the first in the New Orleans series. The famous Preservation Hall Jazz Band (I believe this picture was taken in the 1960's) surrounded by souvenirs of New Orleans and Mardi Gras. I added the souvenirs around the outside edge to frame the band. There's a napkin from Pat O'Briens', Mardi Gras beads and coins, and a detailed postcard. My personal tribute to a wonderful city and its great tradition of jazz. The other drawings in this series are the Preservation Hall sign and Mango Mango (the Old Absinthe Bar).
