Description:

Dawn's family cabin is like an observatory, since all the wild animals of the Cedar Breaks pass by on their way to the creek and also to shelter from the wind among the surrounding hills and shrubby junipers. One morning while looking out the window, Dawn saw this doe spank her fawn for pestering another doe! She sketched the scene, and later carved this woood block and printed it on rice paper.
