Dog Day Afternoon Bw

( Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved ) It may seem hard to believe, but this place can get pretty crowded and busy on the weekends. During the summer and fall there are festivals, barn dances, art shows, wine tastings, live bands and lots of people just having a good time. Rabbit Hash is only a few miles west of Cincinnati on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River and this old-time General Store has been here since 1831. During the week, locals and even tourists stop by to relax and enjoy the free nostalgia. A few years ago, the famous movie star and director Robert Redford came here just to get some souvenirs for family and friends. But one day when I stopped by things were pretty slow. Nothing was happening, no one was around and it was just another sunny, lazy summer ... Dog Day Afternoon.
