Elaine Jones replied:

Thank you so much, Angela.

Thank you for your kind comments Jerry and Denise.

This is wonderful Elaine

As a boy, I used to love to build model airplane kits, Elaine. I built German Me 109s, 262s, FW 190s as well as all the Brit planes, P-47s and '51s. Your work could be featured on the box cover of a model plane kit. Beautiful work! ( PS.....I had not built a model in 30 years until a built my TITANIC ship model that I now have featured in an FAA gallery! )..............FAV / Like

Thank you for your comment and vote.

Impressive composition, Elaine, and very timely.

Elaine Jones replied:

Thanks, Gary. I wanted to give an impression of the many layers of air activity taking place that day. Researching the background history of this event was a sobering experience, and a grim reminder of the real purpose of these beautiful machines.
