Painting - Oil On Canvas
Dolceacqua - Italy; , Always in search of themes and motifs in painting, Claude Monet went to Dolceacqua dans la Valle de la Nerve, un lieu superbe a great place, perhaps attracted by contemporary images of Jean Scott and other photographers .
He set up his easel on the outskirts of the historic center, described as a jewel de Lgret and painted in the riverbed of the river Nervia, painting, with typical
impressionist style (but influenced by his personal sensitivity), some views of the narrow medieval bridge, a donkey, and the old village Tera, dominated by the imposing bulk of the Castello Doria.
