Description:

A dragon sits on its roost, cold and awaiting the warmth and light of the coming sun. As the light peaks over the mountain pit, it raises its head to receive the welcoming rays.
This is a scratch board Piece from a few years back as I was moving from scratch paper to board. The harder surface makes details much sharper.
The original of this picture was sold in a gallery(rocky mountain art gallery) show in Colorado.
