This piece is from my Abstract/Dragon series. It’s a whimsical look at those oh so rare beasts from long ago. As with much of my art, I have used Fractals to achieve some of the effects in this art. For the backgrounds I use scans of various art that I make from scratch. I will do watercolor, and then add pastel or even oil or pretty much anything to get the effect I want, then, I can work with it to achieve the effect that I want. This process can take several months and I have several "backgrounds" in the works at all times. Then I build these up to the finished art. The process is very time intensive, but I think the overall effect is worth it. For Dragons
