Dream Bouquet is from a series of Dream Scapes done this year. For about ten years I have had dreams of paintings I have never seen before. In my dreams these paintings were done by me. When I wake up I can see between five to seven paintings and then minutes later I can only see one or two. I am assuming that because I live to paint I also dream to paint. I decided this year to try to put these dream paintings on canvas. The difference between these paintings and my other work is that there are never any dark colors and there is a strong flowing motion throughout the work. Also, there is usually a lot more pale blue than there is in my regular work and the forms are less distinct. These paintings are done in only a few layers so I can offer them at a much lower price. The colors are vivid and the surface is smooth. This painting was recently sold(April 2008) to Sandra Wright of Radford, VA.
