Clearly this is one of your most favored pieces, in terms of responses; but I like many of the others as well. I think your work is more than, different from, and better than photography. Your brush work and pencil lines reveal your love for the animals and objects you paint and draw. Fine work.

Incredible detail, but that's what can happen when you work on a large format. What I found simply wonderful was the nose.. the texture is perfect.. and it looks soft. You're a master at what you do.. and now one of my favs.. wonderful..
