Wonderful painting Anneke! The visual perspective of us looking down on the boy is unusual which makes this piece even more interesting and beautiful. I believe a artist leaves a piece of themselves in everything they do and I can certainly see your heart in this one. Regards, Monica

This painting reminds me of when I was a kid, Anneke. I used to live by the Colorado river maybe 75 yards away I would take a row boat out and paddle up the channel and go where it is peaceful and just watch the fish swimming around and checking me out thinking maybe I was a big fish? I don’t know. The water was so clear you could see the fish swimming all over. That’s another beautiful piece you created. Good stuff, Dreaming fits it perfect.

Oh Anneke, this is such a lovely painting. I really like the way you manage to capture scenes from impossible angles. I sense a great tranquility and at the same time the energy from childhood and youth is strong, it's wonderful. Your water is masterful work too!
