Driftwood Beach Jekyll Island
Photograph - Photography
Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island is absolutely gorgeous. Sunrise on this beach is hands down one of the prettiest locations with amazing photography opportunities. The wondrous and brutal erosion of the barrier island has created a haunting cemetery of gnarled, gorgeous trees and driftwood. The Atlantic swallows live oaks and pines, spitting up their uprooted edges. The shore is littered with giants.
Jekyll Island is an island off the coast of Georgia; it is one of the Sea Islands and one of the Golden Isles of Georgia. The city of Brunswick, Georgia, the Marshes of Glynn, and several other islands, including the larger St. Simons Island, are nearby. The island is also full of wildlife, consisting of many different mammals, reptiles, and birds living and breeding in the island's inland marshes.
