You have great images of eagles you see every day, no fair. I had to go on a cruise to Alaska to see mine. Maybe I'll be able to drop by next winter without a major snowstorm to stop me this time.

Description:

This is the first in my Alaska series. There will be more to come.

This magnificent eagle was perched on a log hidden behind an old building in Ketchikan Alaska. So I was able to sneak up on it and take it's portrait without disturbing the bird.

This image is giclee printed on fine art papers or canvas like all my work. The canvas images are coated with a protectant and then stretched on 3/4" stretcher bars. Finally, I paint the canvas prints with clear acrylic to add visible brush strokes that enhance the feeling of the print.
